The project:

To supply and install the catering equipment to the Café on Level 7 and the Pantry on Level 3 of the new office accommodation for the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

The result:

The Café had a curved main counter and a condiments/ recycling counter which were located in the centre of the open space area to allow visual connections between the Café and Business Lounge.

The finishes to the counters were chosen to complement the colour scheme of the overall area which has a local landscape theme with a graphic image of the Derbyshire Dales on glass panels behind the seating area.

Adjacent to the counters, there is a tray pick up unit, chilled display units and a support kitchen providing areas for preparation, cooking and wash up.

The Pantry on Level 3 was equipped with racking, stainless steel tabling and sinks, under counter dishwasher and a bulk brewer.

The project was another fast track scheme completed to meet challenging deadlines and without compromising quality.
