The project:
To design and install a kitchen for
a new restaurant built into a semi derelict building close to Conwy
Castle. The new restaurant is a combination of contemporary coffee
bar and smart café restaurant.
The result:
The kitchen was designed and
installed by BETTAquip Foodservice Solutions in the basement of the
building. The cooking suite of Electrolux 700 line units combines
boiling rings with an oven, fryer and grill. BETTAquip also
supplied a convection oven, a professional dishwasher that provides
high performance from a machine little bigger than a domestic model
and stainless steel preparation tabling, all from the Electrolux
Professional range.

"It's an awkward shape that needed
some creative thinking to make the best of the space but our chefs
are delighted with the result. I particularly like the walk in cold
room that gives us lots of storage space. I also find the saladette
unit, which combines refrigerated storage with a preparation area,
very useful as we use lots of freshly prepared salads."
