The project:
Mythe Farm had been a working farm and a home for Joanna and
Joseph Garland's family for generations. With a European grant,
they decided to put a tender together for converting it into an
events & wedding venue with accommodation for guests. BETTAquip
were involved very early on with the kitchen design working with
the Architect and fine food company Galloping Gourmet.
The result:
The new structure that was added to the existing farm buildings
had to compliment the traditional style of existing structure. This
meant there was a height restriction as well as stepped floor in
the kitchen area. This proved quite challenging when it came to
achieving the required work flow and adequate ventilation
system.
A complete range of new Electrolux cooking, refrigeration and
dishwashing equipment were installed in addition to a Rational
Combi Master oven. The lower level was fitted with a custom built
cold room and storage racking.
A range of Bartender units, bottle coolers, dishwasher and an
ice maker were installed in the bar area to compliment the
shopfitted bar and display shelving.
The response:
"We needed a kitchen equipped with top class inovations that
could handle constant use to produce a variety of different food
types. It was important for us that the equipment we installed
would be easy to use and when we were beginning the conversion, the
confidence that stems from working with a supplier such as
Electrolux Professional was essential."
